We are Engaging care giving corner as nursing support for my 96 year old mother who is independent and mobile but does not drive and is a bit overwhelmed by aspects of daily life. Allison, our assigned nurse, has become a dear friend and trusted partner to me and my mother. Helps her maintain her med schedule and refills; provides transport for all medical appointments and all life errands and trips. She is an amazing resource and support for my Mom and I do not know how we would survive without her!

Caregiving Corner has been a critical part of our journey caring for my Mom who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's over 2 years ago. From helping us find competent and caring in-home care (via Hallmark Homecare - also highly recommended), to making sure her care needs were being met throughout, to helping us transition to the search for the best fit for an Assisted Living Facility (Glen Haven in Huntersville - the perfect place for Mom), Angela, Chanel, Barbara and everyone at Caregiving Corner has been there every step of the way providing expert guidance and support for us and my Mom. Don't know how we would have gotten through the last 2+ years without them!

I reached out to Caregiving Corner after my stepmother passed away unexpectedly and I was rushed to find a memory care facility for my father. I was immediately placed with Care Manager Lindsay Kievit, and I could not have asked for a better individual to guide me through such a difficult time. She helped me to quickly narrow down several communities here in Charlotte based on my father's needs and budget, set up appointment times for me to visit, and also counseled me many times when I was struggling with grief and other decisions regarding my dad's wellbeing. Lindsay was always very responsive, super organized and clearly passionate about her career - I honestly could not have managed without her. I would HIGHLY recommend Caregiving Corner to anyone that is in need or looking for assistance with aging parents - they will guide you through the process and take a lot off your plate!

The staff are very professional, but also very caring and compassionate! They have always been able to handle matters with my sister in my absence. They found the perfect facility and moved her in. They have taken her to doctors appointments and are always the perfect advocate in any situation. I can only visit her about 4-6 times a year and they visit about twice a month snd always send me a note on how she is and often a picture. It gives me peace knowing they are there!

Caregiving Corner especially Ashlyn Hyde took excellent care of my mother for over 12 months. Ashlyn visited with mom once a week or whenever a need came up. My mother suffered from memory issues and mobility issues. Ashlyn and Caregiving Corner were always available to assist in additional care, doctor/hospital visits. When she was unable to live alone, Caregiving Corners were able to coordinate her move and downsize. There contacts made the relocation from Independent living to Assisted Living and then Memory care effortless, from my perspective. I live in California and mom was in Charlotte, Caregiving Corner served as an advocate for mom, always looking out for what was best for her and her condition. Finally when it came time for Hospice to enter, Ashlyn was able to recognize the need and recommend to me. I was probably in denial but trusted Ashlyn and feel mom's final days were much more comfortable and less confusing thanks to her efforts. I will always owe a debt of gratitude to Ashlyn for what she was able to provide for mom! Thanks again
