Meet our dedicated South Carolina care managers

Kylie Craig, MS, CDP, BC-Ded
Care Manager

Kylie has devoted her career to supporting older adults and the families who love them. With a Master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University, she brings both clinical understanding and heartfelt compassion to her work.

Her experience spans memory care leadership, dementia education, and nonprofit aging services — including her role as Executive Director of the County Council on Aging, where she championed programs that help seniors remain independent at home.

Kylie believes every older adult deserves dignity, choice, and a trusted advocate. She approaches each client with warmth, creativity, and a genuine desire to make life easier during times of transition.

Outside of her professional life, Kylie enjoys a full and joyful home in Lancaster, SC, with her two young children and their dog. Her experiences as a mother and community member enrich her work, giving her a personal understanding of the challenges families face and the comfort that comes from having a trusted guide by your side.

Matt Johnston, MS
Care Manager

Matthew has dedicated his entire career to supporting older adults and the families who care for them. He earned his Master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Appalachian State University, grounding his work in both academic insight and a deep respect for the aging process.

For more than a decade, Matthew has served older adults across a variety of retirement community settings, gaining extensive experience in care coordination, advocacy, and family support. Before joining Caregiving Corner, he spent three years as an Aging Life Care Manager, guiding individuals and families through complex decisions with clarity, patience, and compassion. He believes that every person’s aging journey is unique and is committed to helping clients achieve their goals in ways that honor their preferences, strengths, and stories.

Matthew and his wife, Allison, live in Lancaster, South Carolina with their two cats, Rey and Tom, and their Rottweiler, Bear. He enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, cooking, listening to music, and being with family and friends — experiences that keep him grounded and reinforce his belief in the importance of connection, community, and caring for one another across generations.
